Knowing Us, Knowing Them: Applying Neuroscience to Peacebuilding

On May 19th, 2022, "Knowing Us, Knowing Them: Applying the Neuroscience of Group Dynamics to Reconciliation and Peacebuilding" was held in collaboration with Beyond Conflict to explore how neuroscience impacts group dynamics and truth, reconciliation, and peace processes. The event featured neuroscience researchers and peacebuilding practitioners who discussed the role of threat and empathy between individuals and communities and how discoveries in neuroscience are helping to inform current peace and reconciliation processes.
